So to not let it go to waste, the least I should do it make a new journal!

I kind of miss this journal skin. Anywho -

- Video Updates -

I had recorded some footage while in cosplay I was going to make into a video, and I said that would be up in a week...

and I looks like I am a lair. Whoops. Sorry about that. I still am working on it, but my crappy old XP computer is out of memory, so I need to go buy an external hard drive to try and clear it off a bit. (I had an external hard drive, but it decided to stop working. Boo.) So once I get that, I can make room for the video I took.

I have been somewhat productive though. For like the two of you guys that like my AMVs, I have been working on a new one! I started it quite a while ago, but I haven't been working on it due to computer problems with my old crappy XP computer. (I need a new computer, I know. I plan on getting quite a nice large tower hooked up to my TV as the monitor, but I would like to wait until I move in about a year. I honestly just don't have the space for it right now.) Lately, I have picked the project back up, and it's actually getting done! Yay! So (unless things go HONORABLY WRONG) I should be entering the Ohayocon AMV contest again this year.

There's no guarantee that my video would be picked to be shown, but it's still fun to try. (Two Ohayocon's ago I entered two videos. Only one of them made it into the contest, and it won best of show!) If I have time, there is a chance I would make a second one this year and try to enter it too. The one I am working now would go into romance. (It's an upbeat and fun romance!) If I made another one, I would probably try to go with comedy, since it's such a crowd pleaser category.

- Cosplay Updates -

So right now some of the laddies I cosplay with are working on a Zelda and Samus (full suit!) cosplay. I plan on making Peach's new dress from the new SSBB game to cosplay with them, and we'll go around as the laddies of Nintendo. It will be great. (Most likely we'll have a Daisy and a Wii Fit trainer too, with possible other people joining in as well.) The catch is, I don't exactly know WHEN they'll be done with their cosplays. They're both pretty complicated projects for them, and a much greater scale then either of them have done before. I have made three Peach dresses before, so I have a general idea of how long it would take me to make another one. Though complicated, it's nothing I haven't done before. (I think it would take me four months at the most.) Theirs may be done by this Ohayocon, or may not be. I have no idea. Either way, I have some time before I have to think about making that Peach dress to wear with them. (Either 5 months from now, or 17 months.) So I am in a great debate with myself with what I want to make in the mean time. I have lots of materials to make another Link outfit. I have things to make the Green and Red tunics, which I would love to make! (And make with higher quality than the blue outfit I already have.) At the same time, it would be a lot of fun to cosplay someone new. I have a list of people I would like to cosplay. Midoriko from InuYasha has always been pretty high on that list for things I could do Solo.

So most likely Midoriko and Link will be the next cosplays I make. I had talked for a while about making Mirajane's Satin Soul outfit, but I decided that it's a project that should wait until I move, so that have more space to make it.

- Life Updates -

I am taking my old junkie car to get fixed up tomorrow, I would like to buy a new car, my trip to Japan is coming up in June, I am looking forward to moving in a year to a new place, and one of my friends is getting married this weekend, so things are as busy as always. Hope things are going well on your end!
